Recently ABC released a 30-second-long trailer, wherein the 'Once Upon a Time' fans can hear the voice of Goodwin's character saying, "Remember who you are Emma Swan. Resist temptation. I will not lose my daughter to darkness."
According to the report, this suggests that Snow White will do her best to bring back Emma Swan from darkness. However, till that happens, Evil Queen Regina Mills will be the new redeemer of Storybrooke.
In a recent interview with Buddy TV, Lana Parrilla, who portrays the character of the Evil Queen in the series, said, "I think Regina's going to become the savior and the hero this year. We don't know what's going to happen, and Regina is very experienced when it comes to sort of crossing over into the dark side and committing evil acts."
The actress further revealed that her character is concerned about Emma Swan's future, since she is of the view that "the savior may never return back to her true self".
In the meantime, 'Once Upon a Time' fans, who are eagerly waiting to meet Merlin aka Sorcerer, will not see him in the premiere episode. According to Entertainment Weekly, show executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have revealed that the character will appear in a latter sequel.
