The Oklahoma City Thunder will go one-on-one with the New York Knicks on January 28 at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.

The Thunder (23-20) will attempt to stretch their winning streak to two games when they face the Knicks on Wednesday night.

"One thing I love about the guys is we continue to fight and scrap and find ways to get stops," said Thunder head coach Scott Brooks to reporters.

Previously, Oklahoma City recently defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves by a final score of 92-84 in overtime on January 26; a game where Thunder power forward Serge Ibaka had 13 points, 19 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks in the aforementioned win.

"I thought we did a good job of playing defense for 48 minutes and not letting our offense dictate our defense," said Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook to reporters after he finished the game with 18 points.

Meanwhile, the Knicks (5-35) are looking to avoid a probable two game losing streak when they host the Thunder at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks were recently defeated by the Charlotte Hornets by a final score of 76-71 on January 24 after New York point Tim Hardaway Jr. had 25 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and a block in a losing effort.

"We put the guys out there that have never been in that situation, together at least," said Knicks head coach Derek Fisher to reporters.

"So it impacts the way you finish games."
