"He was attacking, he was making plays, guys were making shots for him and he was rebounding the ball."
Previously, Oklahoma City defeated the Orlando Magic by a final score of 104-97 on February 2; a game where Westbrook had 25 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists, 4 steals and a block in the victory.
"For us to win, my job is to be able to make sure everybody is getting the ball and make sure everybody is in the position to score, and that was one of those nights," said Westbrook to reporters.
"I thought we did a great job of knowing our personnel and getting some good stops."
Meanwhile, the Pelicans (25-22) are looking to extend their winning streak to three games when they host the Thunder at the Smoothie King Center.
The Pelicans defeated the Atlanta Hawks by a final score of 115-100 after New Orleans power forward Anthony Davis had 29 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks in the aforementioned win on February 2.
"We just need to continue to do what we've been doing," said Davis to reporters.
"The past couple games, we've been rebounding, defending, sharing the ball. We don't care who scores. That's what we have to do."
