The Thunder (18-19) will attempt to win their second consecutive game when they clash with the Rockets at the Toyota Center.

Previously, Oklahoma City defeated their Northwest division foe Utah Jazz by a final score of 99-94 on Friday night; a game where Thunder All-Star shooting guard Kevin Durant had 32 points, five rebounds and six assists in the victory.

"The first time he (Durant) found me, I was too excited," said Thunder newest shooting guard Dion Waiters to reporters.

"I was too open. I wanted to hit it real bad, and I kind of rushed it and was all off balance. When we came out of the timeout, he just said, 'Be ready, it's going to come around again."

Meanwhile, the Rockets (27-11) will look to extend their winning streak to five games when they hosts the Thunder in their upcoming battle on Thursday night.

"As long as we win the game, that's all that matters," said Rockets center Dwight Howard to reporters.

"We've got 82 games and the playoffs. I'll do my damage when it's time."

Previously, Houston beat the Brooklyn Nets by a final score of 114-105 on January 12, a game where Rockets shooting guard James Harden had 30 points and 6 assists which ignited his team to the aforementioned win.

"In the good old days that was a play-on, now they throw people out," said Rockets coach Kevin McHale to reporters in regards to Nets power forward Kevin Garnett being ejected from the game after he head-butted Howard in the game.

"I don't think it was that big of a deal."
