Oculus Rift News, Specs: What Are The New Titles Added To Oculus Rift?
More titles have been added to the Oculus Rift, including a retro game, tower defense program, role-playing platform, editing software and an upgraded "Minecraft: Pocket Edition."
Some of the games include the following:
"Evil Robot Traffic Jam" - This game, which appeared first on Gear VR, is now available for Oculus Rift. It's basically a tower defense platform where you blow up the cars before they contribute to the traffic gridlock. This would be a good outlet for those who are always stuck in traffic but don't really have a raygun available.
"New Retro Arcade: Neon" - This is '80s nostalgia right here. Basically you walk right inside an arcade and sample some of the arcade games as well as some air hockey, arcade basketball, some bowling and others.
"Mervils: A VR Adventure" - This RPG-type platform is coming to Oculus Rift where you fight Balazar The Evil as he tries to conquer the kingdom after being exiled for centuries. To do that, you must collect the lost pages of the Great Mervil Book and encounter some adventures and challenges along the way.
For some software, check out "Envelop VR" which brings your Windows experience to a whole new level. This is some future level Windows computing right here as you can resize and transfer apps, and even do some editing.
In other news, "Minecraft: Pocket Edition" for Oculus Rift will have even more enhanced 3D building modes as well as entirely new adventures. The jungle, temple, and texture packs are also reportedly getting updates.
Watch out for more news reports on the Oculus Rift which will be published when they come along.
