NY Giants NFL 2015 News: Odell Beckham Jr Talks Heckling After Injury

Fans of the New York Giants and players on the team probably cannot wait to see Odell Beckham Jr. return to the field.

Beckham is going to beginning his second year as a wide receiver for the team, and made 2014 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Beckham, who is also known as ODB, made a name for himself last year by making 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games, which earned him the Pro Bowl and All Pro selections.

With the team suffering from the loss of another wide receiver, Victor Cruz, as he attempts to return on field after a nasty patellar injury, the Giants need Beckham back as soon as possible.

However, Beckham has been off the field nursing a hamstring injury, that has kept him on the sidelines throughout offseason work.

He recently revealed that the injury has sparked some comments from his teammates that are rubbing him the wrong way. In a statement to Dan Graziano of ESPN, Beckham discussed his injury and said comments.

"For me, this is what I love doing, and this is what I feel like my purpose was to do," Beckham said. "So it takes a lot of strength for me to be able to come here every day and to practice, have to hear the little remarks, the little jokes, this and that. And it's not just about a hamstring. It's so many other things that people talk about. So it's hard to come here and try to focus on 'What play is up right now?' instead of...how bad you want to be out there."
