'No Man's Sky' Update News: Day-One Patch Brings Slew Of Features
Hello Games "No Man's Sky" has already got its day-one patch and it brought big changes to the whole game, according to reports.
The "No Man's Sky" update changed the gameplay significantly as patch 1.03 introduces the Three Paths. According to the game's official website, players are now bound to follow new and unique paths throughout the game. It further states that players have to begin the game on a fresh save and the path they choose dictates what they will see and encounter in the latter part of the title.
In addition to paths, the update also brought changes to the universe, as the studio altered the ruled of the universe generation algorithms. This means galaxies have changed their shapes, planets have moved, and environments have changed their biomes.
In line with starting the game on a fresh save, the early-access server wipes removed early player data, according to Eurogamer. As per the publication, players who were playing the game early are left with no choice but to start from scratch. It is further revealed that those who got the game from its official launch are set to have the patch automatically installed in the process.
"No Man's Sky" is Hello Games' new action-adventure survival video title. Set in a procedurally created open universe, the game showcases four pillars - exploration, survival, combat, and trading. It features more than 18 quintillion planets, which are inhabited by their own flora and fauna.
Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" is was released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 on Aug. 9.
