'No Man's Sky' Release Date News, Rumors: Hello Games Postponed To July Or August?

The release date for Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" has been delayed, in line with a printing error.

A source told Kotaku that "No Man's Sky" is set to be released to either in July or in August. Another source told the publication that the release date for the upcoming video game had changed, as the provided posters had been printed with the original June 21 release date.

As per the source, stores were advised to use a coming soon pop-on to cover up the wrong release date and communicate the change of information with their guests as needed.

The "No Man's Sky" poster also indicates that it is open pre-order and it awards buyers with items like the Alpha Vector, which allows players to begin their journey in an attack ship enhanced with lasers and hyperdrive; Rezasu Z65, which lets gamers visit dangerous planets with a multi-tool like a plasma upgrade; and a Starting Boost of 10,000 units, which serve as an intact kick off to the center of the universe.

Sony Commercial Director Fergal Gara shared his thoughts on "No Man's Sky" as one of their internal studios. In a statement, as cited by Tech Advisor UK, gara said that they had been working very closely with the developers and bringing it into their release programme as if they had made it.

Gara added that they were not going to treat it any differently and they were going to put the full weight of PlayStation behind it. For the Sony Commercial Director, "No Man's Sky" would be treated like a first-party release and not a self-published small indie title on the platform.

Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" is assumed to hit gaming stores in July or August.
