'No Man's Sky' Release Date, News Update: Game Set To Be Released In August

New details on the release date of Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" have surfaced.

"No Man's Sky" is set to be released on Aug. 10 in the United Kingdom and Europe, Mac World has learned. As per the publication, it was previously announced that the game would be launched in the UK on Aug. 12 while in the Europe on Aug. 10.

As per the publication, UK fans were unsatisfied, since Europe was set to get the games two games in advance. The report further revealed that on June 3, Sony tweeted that they had been working with retailers that "No Man's Sky" would now launch on Aug. 10, the same date as other European countries.

"No Man's Sky" was initially announced at the VGX 2013 gaming conference, was pinpointed by Sony during its press event at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June 2014, and completely revealed in detail at the E3 2015 earlier this year. Following the said timeline, the game's launch was also revealed to be in June.

Sony UK Commercial Director Fergal Gara shared his thoughts about "No Man's Sky," which seems to be a real Sony title. In a statement, as cited by Tech Advisor, Gara said that "No Man's Sky" had been treated as if it had been from one of their internal studios, adding that they had been working very closely with the developers and bringing it into their release programme as if they had made it.

Overall, fans have to wait until Hello Game's "No Man's Sky" is released in August.
