'No Man's Sky' DLC News: Trailer Is Different From The Actual Game?; Paid DLC Possible In The Future

Along with talks about paid downloadable content or DLC for Hello Games' "No Man's Sky," it is revealed that the actual game is different from its trailers.

"No Man's Sky" is not at par with its previous trailers, as per Polygon. According to the publication, the trailer featured a "near-perfect" blend of flora and fauna; however, the actual game unveiled the opposite.

A case in point are the animals in a GIF tweeted by Kansas-based video editor and game enthusiast Clayton Ashley (@Clayton Ashley). On Aug. 15, he wrote that he had done the world's dumbest laugh when he had found a pasture full of these beautiful boys.

In the GIF, Ashley referred to the flying animals, which seem to be a blend of a bull and stegosaurus, with wings. While such fauna was not shown in the trailer, it is assumed that the flora and fauna from the cosmos' quintillion planets do look odd.

In other news, a paid DLC is feasible for "No Man's Sky," as per title creator Sean Murray. In his interview with Daily Star Online, Murray said that they would have paid DLC in the future; he explained that there was some reason why they could not possible afford to do a specific feature without charging for it.

"No Man's Sky" is Hello Games' action-adventure survival video game. Set in the cosmos that covers more than 18 quintillion planets, the title's gameplay revolves around four pillars and they are exploration, survival, trading, and combat.

Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" was released for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows on Aug. 9.
