Ronda Rousey News: UFC Champion has No Future Plans for the WWE

Fans of the WWE got a surprise treat when Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson pulled UFC Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey from the crowd to lay the smack down on antagonists Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31. Unfortunately for those looking forward to see more of the undefeated UFC fighter, it won't be happening anytime soon.

On Wednesday, Rousey's agent Brad Slater told UFC Tonight that there are currently no further plans being discussed for her client to make future appearances on any WWE shows. Slater emphasized that the Olympian turned MMA champion turned movie star is focused on her preparations for her fight with fellow undefeated fighter Bethe Correia at UFC 190 in Brazil, Yahoo Sports reports.

Speculation that Rousey would make another appearance for the WWE was lit by a post from the UFC champion tweeting a photo of herself and Johnson during WrestleMania 31 with the caption "The night: Historic. The moment: Electric. The Rock, Ronda & the WWE Universe: Magic. We're just gettin' started"¦."

As Yahoo Sports points out, The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer also reported that another possible pairing of The Rock and Rousey was being discussed for the next WrestleMania scheduled for Dallas, Texas.

Speaking of the Rousey-Correia matchup, Best Fight Odds had the champion opening up as a massive 15-1 favorite over the Brazilian. That means to win $100, you have to lay down $1,500. While both fighters will enter the octagon with undefeated records, Rousey has finished all 11 of her opponents, Correia on the other hand has done so twice in her nine MMA fights.

Rousey will also be looking to avenge the losses of fellow "Horsewomen" members. Correia is presently two for two against the "Horsewomen" beating both Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler. The match is scheduled for August 1 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
