Nintendo Switch Trailer, Specs, Price News: Previous Rumors Validated About New Console

The reveal trailer for the Nintendo Switch, previously named Nintendo NX, had just been dropped and most of the details have validated previous rumors about the new console.

The Nintendo Switch reveal trailer showed a lot of details and breakdown. For one, the Nintendo Switch can be placed on the dock which immediately connects you to the TV for a bigger screen. If you have to go, just lift the console from the dock and you already have your own mobile gaming system.

The controllers on the ears of the screen are called "Joy-con" controllers. They can be connected to the screen through an accessory, but they can also be taken out.

The press statement, as published on Gamespot, said, "One player can use a Joy-Con controller in each hand; two players can each take one; or multiple Joy-Con can be employed by numerous people for a variety of gameplay options."

PVPLive has a scene-to-scene breakdown of the 3-minutes-and-37-second Nintendo Switch reveal trailer. One of the details include two USB fronts on the dock. That's good news for those using the controller adapters in the Wii U.

The Nintendo Switch reveal also showed that there seems to be no break in the game when you switch from the portable to the large TV screen. One of the details that people might have missed is the game being played on the screen: "Zelda: Breath of the Wild." Aside from that, there's an NBA game and Skyrim. There also seems to be a 3-D Mario game that nobody has seen before.

The Nintendo Switch reveal also bared that you can switch to a bigger controller if the "Joy-con" controllers are too small for you. There should be more details and breakdowns as the March 2017 release approaches.

In addtion, the price tag for the gaming tablet is set around $300.
