Nintendo NX Release Date, News: Console Runs ‘Zelda,’ ‘Pokemon,’ ‘Mario;’ NX Not Superior To PS4?
Along with forthcoming games of Nintendo's NX console, it is revealed that the gaming device is not as superior as other consoles.
In a statement, as cited by Market for Computer and Video Games, an executive who is knowledgeable on Nintendo's forthcoming game console said that it was a nice bit of kit, a bit of a novelty, but a good one; however, the exec revealed that the device would not appeal to PlayStation 4 fans, which suggests that the Nintendo NX is inferior to the latter.
According to the exec, Nintendo seemed set on trying to enhance smartphone games and that was going to be a large job for the marketing department.
In terms of specifications, the Nintendo NX is set to run on a new operating system from Nintendo and it would not merely run on the Android platform, a source to Eurogamer. As per the publication, the device is also set to run Nvidia's potent mobile prcessor Tegra. While Nintendo is not merely after graphical parity, it is assumed that the tech giant is set to integrate the newest technology into the handheld device.
The Nintendo is also set to bring three among its iconic titles to the Nintendo NX and they are "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," "Pokemon," and a new "Super Mario" game. At this point, only "Zelda" has the official title, which means fans are yet to wait on what "Pokemon" and "Mario" games are set to be released.
Nintendo NX is set to be released in Mar. 2017 worldwide.
