Gamers and video game freaks are going to get more excited as the latest news about Nintendo NX has been released recently.

According to Christian Today, its release date is speculated to be on the Electronic Entertainment Expo which is slated from June 14 to 16 in Los Angeles, California. The event is known to be the venue for any remarkable announcement from every giant gaming company like Nintendo.

Meanwhile, company head Tatsumi Kimishima accidentally dropped some hints about their plan this year as he reportedly told Wiiudaily that the upcoming product could be one of their highest achievement this year.

"The question was to pick one area with which we will be able to achieve Nintendo-like profits, but I would like to suggest two areas," as we quote. "One area is our NX business, and another is our business for smart devices. I believe that keeping these two endeavors on track will be key to achieving Nintendo-like profits," the President added.

So, what are the possible indications of the Nintendo DX? One of Nintendo's major supplier Macromix International allegedly revealed that Nintendo requested for new memory slots designed for the upcoming product, as Daily Star revealed.

"(President) CY Lu said Macronix will supply memory slots for NX, and that the company has a considerable expectation to NX," as we quote. However, Lu didn't specify what type of the new slot it will be.

Despite the plausible claims, these rumors have not yet confirmed and Nintendo fans would have to wait for more news about the Nintendo NX soon.
