Nintendo NX Release Date News: Did The ‘Rise: Race The Future’ Teaser Unveils Console’s 2017 Release?

Along with the first look at "Rise: Race the Future" in a teaser, which includes the Nintendo NX, it is revealed that game console may be launched along with the company's "The Legend of Zelda."

According to Christian Today, the Nintendo NX and "The Legend of Zelda" are two of the most awaited releases from Nintendo. As per the publication, fans may see their release in March 2017. It is added that not only fans are thrilled with its launch, but also game retailers like GameStop.

The "Rise: Race the Future" teaser featured a racing car, along with its exteriors and interiors. Along with an engaging music, the clip showcased the car's shiny body, rear, laterals, and front. In addition, fans also have the chance to peak on the internal parts of the car, including the wheel structures.

The clip concluded with the game's release, which is in the winter of 2016. In line with the Nintendo NX, the teaser revealed that the game is going to be playable on Nintendo's upcoming game console, together with the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, among others.

The Nintendo NX is assumed to yield $2.7 billion in incremental sales, if it achieves better performance than the Wii U, according to Nintendo strategic business and brand development executive vice president Mike Hogan.

In his interview with Nintendo Insider, Hogan said that should the new NX performed only slightly better than the Wii U, it would generate 2.7 billion dollars in incremental sales over the first two years. If it performed at even half of the level of the Wii, it would generate 7.5 billion units of incremental sales over the said time frame. Game Stop's market share is expected to be applied to determine the impact on sales.

Overall, the Nintendo NX is set to be released in 2017. Meanwhile, watch the trailer here.
