Nintendo NX News, Release Date: New Console Promises Greatness, Set To Attract Lapsed Players?

With the upcoming Nintendo NX, it is revealed that fans are set have a blissful gaming experience that even the return of casual players is promised.

In his interview with MCV, CFO Alain Corre shared his thoughts on what Ubisoft sees on the upcoming Nintendo NX. "On the NX, what we have seen is really great," he said. Corre also mentioned that they thought having a new machine coming was going to help the industry to continue to grow and to take a lot more casual players back to the industry.

According to Corre, he sees the family market vital to Nintendo. In the same interview, he said that the studio was addressing the family market in a very different way, their own way, which they appreciated. He also said that they had done a lot of products and successes with Nintendo before and the believed that the NX would recapture the lapsed Wii players, adding that they were confident when they release the console.

Corre added that they had always appreciated their dynamics with Nintendo, the co-creation, and the fact that they were really concentrating on quality. For him, they had fantastic brands.

Nintendo's Wii managed to sell over 100 million units while its successor, the Wii U just sold around 12.8 million units, as per Game Spot. Based on Corre's statement, it is assumed that Nintendo will rise up again with its Nintendo NX. The forthcoming console is rumored to be a hybrid of a console and a handheld device, which utilizes an industry-leading technology. The latter tech is yet to be confirmed and clarified by the tech company.

Nintendo's NX console is set to come out in March 2017.
