Nikon 1 J5 Specs, Release Date News: New Compact Camera Hits Stores Late April
Camera company, Nikon, has announced that its latest compact camera, the Nikon 1 J5, will hit stores in late April, selling at about $500.
It will be packaged with the 1 Nikkor 10-30 mm lens. This camera has a CX-format one inch 20.8 megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor.
This drops the anti-aliasing filter so that the photographer will easily be able to get sharper images. It also comes with a hybrid AF system just like the product which was released before it, the Nikon 1 J4.
In terms of burst, there is a continuous burst rate of 20 frames per second and the burst uses full AF and full resolution, with capabilities of going up to 60 frames per second with fixed AF.
Nikon has also added the EXPEED 5A image processor which helps to improve this camera's shooting speed. For autofocus, this camera offers a 171 contrast-detect level and 105 phase detect AF points, as well as Sports mode for quicker focusing.
The Nikon 1 J5's ISO range is between 100 and 12800 and you can also take pictures using the noise reduction feature, which can be enabled at ISO 6400 and ISO 12800.
The design of this camera is quite different from that of its predecessor, with its dials being more pronounced and with a more contoured design than the J4 as well.
You can also use manual controls and PSAM exposure mode by using the Mode dial. The Command Dial also allow photographers to change the settings of the camera with ease.
Finally, this camera comes with a 3 inch LCD touchscreen which can be rotated a full 180 degrees, great for taking selfies, especially in Self-portrait mode.
This camera is the next level in photography, perfect for any pro or amateur photographer with all of its great features.
