Famous female rapper Nicki Minaj is world-renowned for her singing performances. Her musical collaboration with Jessie J and Ariana Grande brought over 200 million viewers to their YouTube music video. However, Nicki Minaj has made a living on surprising her fans, and she has a new surprise in store.

According to the X Games organizers, the games will be "bringing one of the most complete youth culture experiences available with an enhanced, sport, music, gaming and festival lineup."

This summer, Minaj plans to perform at the annual X Games in Austin. ESPN's competition draws in athletes on skateboards, bikes, etc. to bring their best tricks to the table. Could we get to see Nicki Minaj on a skateboard?

"I look forward to channeling the energy and spirit from the X Games into a performance Austin will not forget," Nicki announced, further spurring rumors that the "Anaconda" rapper will attempt a little skateboarding stunt of her own.

The X Games gave the news in a Twitter post that showed an artistic version of Nicki Minaj behind one of the leading skateboard athletes, Nyjah Huston. Only two days after it was posted, the post had been retweeted over 1000 times, and favorited almost 1500 times.

In addition to the rapper, TalibKweli, Pennywise and Deltron 3030 will be performing at the X Games. Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, January 23^rd. The major competition will take place from June 4^th to June 7^th.
