Singer Nick Lachey and TV personality Vanessa Minnillo are now the proud parents of two children, 2-year-old Camden, and a new baby girl named Brooklyn Elisabeth who was born on Monday.

Minnillo shared the news herself through a post on her official website titled "Proud Parents: Baby Girl Lachey is Here" and introduced her newborn daughter to the world.

"She's HERE!" the post read, "She was born January 5th, 2015 at 5:17 p.m. She weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, is 21 inches long and has already won over all of our hearts."

Minnillo then shared that she had been dreaming of this moment for a long time, that she would get to meet her best friend. She wrote, "I can't even begin to tell you how it felt to old her in my arms for the very first time."

The couple also shared their daughter's first photo through Minnillo's website and her Instagram account, showing Brooklyn's small hand holding onto her mother's thumb.

The Instagram post was captioned, "Thank you for all the love and support, we are over the moon! Xx."

The couple first announced that they were expecting their second child in July when Lachey tweeted the good news.

"Can't think of a way to celebrate 3 years of marriage to my beautiful @VanessaLachey than this! #family," the tweet read. The singer also included a picture of Camden and the words "It's a girl" written in sand.

Lachey was also vocal about his love of his wife and the pregnancy. During an interview with Parents magazine, he stated, "My wife's maternal side is a new dynamic to her personality."

Minnillo complimented her husband in turn, calling him a great man, good friend, and family guy who respected her and loved her children.

The couple tied the knot in July 2011 at a ceremony held on Necker Island. Minnillo gave birth to their first child Camden in September 2012.
