Nick Jonas New Album News: Nick Jonas' New Single Levels Sure to Steam Fans Up
Levels, Nick Jonas' new single, was released last weekend and Jonas has driven his fans into a frenzy with a steamy teaser, was released last week.
Jonas had previously released a snippet of the song's beat and had also teased viewers with videos and Instagram photo glimpses of the scantily clad moonbabes dancing seductively behind him while he sings in a chair.
Last week was the first time fans heard Jonas' vocals on the song.
The song features funky 70s beats and lyrics like: "Every time I touch you, you life right off the ground."
While the single was released last week, fans will have to wait for 31st August to view the steamy music video, the same day as the MTV Video Music Awards.
Jonas will also perform the single for the first time at the awards.
Jonas also performed Under You, another new single, at the iHeartMedia Music Summit recently.
Jonas is pushing the boundaries with his new album, having worked hard on creating new music for it. He told MTV that:
"This [Levels] is the first single to a new album, which I'm incredibly excited to announce. I've been hard at work on the new music trying to push myself lyrically to say some deeper things. "
He further added:
"And I've gone through a lot in this past year and a half and I want to talk about it and just push myself as an artist and continue to grow."
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly earlier in the year, Jonas speaks of music in general:
"The great thing about songs that a large group of people can connect to is that, it sort of breaks down some of the walls of feeling like they can't like it for whatever reason. That's been the big goal this last year and a half, to break some of the perceptions down and rebuild."
Levels was released on 21st August. The music video will be aired on 30th August.
