Nick Cannon News Update: TV Host Talks about His and Mariah Carey's Twins

Rapper and famous TV host Nick Cannon recently revealed that his twins with ex-wife Mariah Carey are growing up and getting their own rooms. Cannon shared that the intimate moments with his kids haven't changed and even improved despite his split from Carey.

While preparing for another season of America's Got Talent which kicks off with auditions in New York City, Cannon revealed that "Family is the number one priority," he told E! News, "It's always making sure that you make that connection first."

Despite his busy schedule, Cannon shared that he makes sure he makes time for his kids Moroccan and Monroe. "Just even where I move or the places where my days start has to be starting with the kids first," Cannon shared.

Cannon also shared how he calls the twins "Dem kids, dem damn kids," he joked on the red carpet telling E! News, "They put two D's on it." The twins are turning four soon and Cannon can't help but share how much the kids have grown.

"I'm loving their independence," Cannon gushed, "We've been doing some shopping lately and picking out what kind of bed they wanted and their own drapes and they're like designing their own rooms," he added.

Soon when they finish their designs, the two can finally stay in their own separate rooms as they currently still stay in the same room. "Up until this point, they've kind of shared rooms and now they're kind of individuals," he shared, "It's watching that individuality come out. It's really cool," Cannon added.

A few months ago, Cannon was reported to have filed Divorce from Carey although no reports have surfaced that it was already final. The couple welcomed their twins on April 30, 2011. Cannon and Carey got married in April 30, 2008.
