Nicholas Brendon, known for his previous role in the supernatural series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, was arrested on charges of public intoxication Sunday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, according to E! News.

This is Brendon's third arrest in this year alone. After the incident which took place on Saturday, Brendon's representative tweeted the following statement: "We are not releasing any comments or statement regarding today's events. Thank you."

In the meantime, yesterday, the actor tweeted a photograph of himself lounging on the beach, saying "Twatters I love you all. Healing waters of Myrtle Beach. We are all human."

The actor, 43, known for his role as Xander on the cult series has also appeared on the show Criminal Minds.

Over the past few months, it seems as though he has been dealing with personal turmoil. In October, he was arrested in Idaho for damaging property and resisting arrest.

He issued an apology after the incident, saying that he had been under the influence of prescription medicine and alcohol. At the time, he said that he had the intention of seeking rehabilitation for both his medical and emotional issues.

This took place shortly after Brendon married his fiancée, Moonda Tee.

Four months later, Brendon's representative announced that the couple had ended their marriage and days after, Brendon was arrested for grand theft and criminal mischief after causing damaged to a hotel room in Ft. Lauderdale and then not paying his bill.

A month or so later, he was detained in Tallahassee, FL for allegedly trashing a hotel there.
