Next-Generation Motorola Moto X 2015 News : Specifications, Feature Update and Release Date
A series of leaks image and specification leaks of Motorola's next-gen Moto X 2015 has give rise to extensive speculations about the upcoming device during the last few weeks. An earlier report claimed that the Moto X 2015 will be available in two variants - a 5.7-inch display model exclusively for Verizon and a smaller 5.2-inch model for the other carriers. Meanwhile, latest leaks suggest that the device many come with a fingerprint scanner and a camera module.
According to Christian Today, the photo of the internal chassis of the third-generation Moto X 2015 supposedly hints that there is a square cut-out just below the camera module. Phone Arena speculates that this cut out is perfect for housing a fingerprint scanner. This suggests that the device may come with the fingerprint scanning technology that will be placed inside the Motorola logo on the rear side of the handset.
Taking a clue from Motorola president Rick Osterloh, a report in Phone Arena states that the Moto X 2015 is likely to be launched either in August or September. According to some reports, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and supported by 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM. In addition, the upcoming smartphone will also accommodate stereo speakers and the latest Type-C USB port. It is expected that the handset will be equipped with 32 GB of internal storage capacity.
In addition, there are rumors that the Moto X 2015 will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. However, Phone Arena notes that Moto devices are always included the list of handsets that receive early Android OS updates.

This was confirmed by Motorola's chief marketing officer in a recent tweet. When a Twitter user asked about the upcoming device's camera unit, CMO Adrienne Hayes responded, "YES. We know we need to improve here and are definitely going to "bring it."
