Red Bulls head coach Mike Petke discussed views regarding his team's dire situation in their upcoming matchup with the New England Revolution on Saturday afternoon.
"At this stage, it's just as important, if not more important, to talk about the game and to talk about tactics, and talk the team into how we're going to play as it is actually going out and doing it," said Petke to reporters.
"It's important to go out and do it as well. But at this stage in the season, you're not going to lose any fitness at all. These guys are fully fit, they're ready to go. It's all about the how we're going to approach the game."
The Red Bull previously lost to the Revolution by a final score of 2-1 in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Championship on November 23.
Red Bull superstar Thierry Henry revealed his status regarding whether or not he will play against New England at Gillette Stadium.
"I'm playing. You happy?" said Henry to reporters.
"The only thing is if ... my Achilles don't last, then I will be on holiday if we don't go through," Henry said. "I'm sure guys wouldn't care if I can walk or not after that. That's just the way it is."
Meanwhile, New England is attempting to defend their home field versus New York on Saturday in order to advance to the MLS Cup Finals.
"We have to go out and play the same game we played in New York," said Revolution midfielder Jermaine Jones to reporters after scoring the game winning goal in the previous matchup against the Red Bulls.
"We can't sit back. I think the best we can do is try and play the whole game."
The game will start at 3:00 pm ET and can be watched on TV on the NBCS network or online through live stream by clicking here.
