"You get a chance to play a team that has been going very good, you want to see how you stack up," said St. Louis to reporters.
"You know it is a fast team, and we have to be sharp. I thought we were."
New York head coach Alain Vigneault revealed his thoughts regarding his squad's recent dominant performance at home, where the Henrik Lundqvist had 21 saves in the victory.
"The prior game was also very complete," said Vigneault to reporters.
"We knew coming in that we were playing against -- at this time -- the top team as far as points. We needed another very strong team effort, and that's what we got from our group. If we apply ourselves, if we prepare ourselves, we can play against any team in the league. We certainly proved that [on Sunday]."

"Just in the right place at the right time," said Killorn to reporters after scoring the game winning goal.
"It went off my skate. That's just the way things are going right now for me."
Stamkos is very pleased that his team avoided a possible three-game slide versus the Wild on November 22.
"Good teams don't lose three in a row," said Stamkos to reporters.
