New York Jets NFL 2014 News, Rumors: Head Coach Rex Ryan and GM John Idzik Fired Next Season?

Not long ago, the New York Jets used to be the team that everyone wanted to beat, but now it seems that they're the team that just can't get a win. This seasons for the Jets has been a complete and total failure.

When the Jets selected Geno Smith as a second round draft pick, they thought that he would do a much better job. They were also hoping that Michael Vick would step up his game again. However, they have had absolutely no luck this season.

The Jets have a record of 2-11 this season and this is the fourth season that they will not be in the playoffs. Many are assuming that head coach, Rex Ryan will be fired after this season. Some are also speculating that general manager, John Idzik will be fired at the end of the season as well.

Apparently Idzik has been unhappy with the Jets for quite some time now and has not been hiding it at all. He only took over as the team's general manager in 2003, but has told made it known that he is very unhappy with the players on the roster.

These may all be rumors that are going around, but the NFL commissioner will make the final decision on who goes and who stays. The fans of the Jets know that a change is coming for the next season, and it may start out as a rebuilding year, but hopefully the changes made will help the Jets win a few more games next year. The only thing Jets fans can do now, is cross their fingers.
