The New York Islanders will face the Dallas Stars on March 3 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

The game will start at 8:30 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Islanders (41-21-2) are looking to avoid a possible two game winning streak when they clash with the Stars on Tuesday night.

"We can't use the schedule as an excuse," said Islanders left winger Matt Martin to reporters.

"Every team has a busy schedule."

New York defeated the Carolina Hurricanes by a final score of 5-3, where Islander players Michael Grabner, Nikolay Kulemin and John Tavares each totaled a goal and an assist in the victory on February 28.

"Clearly we weren't as good as we needed to be," said Tavares to reporters.

"They were the more desperate team."

Meanwhile, the Stars (27-26-10) are looking attempting to prevent a potential seven game losing streak when they defend their home ice versus the Islanders at the American Airlines Center.

"At 2-1, we were banging on the door pretty hard," said Dallas head coach Lindy Ruff to reporters in reference to their latest loss to the Ducks.

"We got loose on the third goal where both defensemen ad-libbed. I think the lesson is they hung around and waited for that one big mistake we made. We turned the puck over in the middle of the ice, and it ended up in the back of our net."

Recently, the Stars defeated the Anaheim Ducks by a final score of 3-1, where Dallas right winger Patrick Eaves each scored the lone power play goal for his squad in a losing effort on March 1.

"We had a good power play winding down towards the end, and (Daley) had a great shot and rebound," said Eaves to reporters.

"I was just hanging out in front and it came right onto my stick."
