The New York Islanders will battle the Carolina Hurricanes on February 17 at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The game will start at 7:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Islanders (37-19-1) are looking to avoid a possible two game losing streak when they go one-on-one with the Hurricanes on Tuesday night.

New York were defeated by their longtime Metropolitan division foe the New York Rangers by a final score of 6-5, where Islanders center Ryan Strome scored two goals in the loss on February 16.

"It's part of the game," said defenseman Johnny Boychuk to reporters.

"No reason to panic. When we were up two, same thing. Just keep emotions in check and play your game."

Meanwhile, the Hurricanes (20-28-7) are trying to stretch their current winning streak two games when they host the Islanders at the PNC Arena.

"Even better. More poise," said Hurricanes head coach Bill Peters to reporters

"The first time he was up, I believe he played 13 games (16 actually). He didn't have a point. He comes up now, in the first game he gets an assist and in the second game he gets a goal. It's a pretty goal, a win and one he'll remember."

Recently, the Hurricanes defeated the Ottawa Senators by a final score of 6-3, where Carolina right winger Andrej Nestrasil had a goal and two assists in the victory on February 16.

"It was definitely a huge game for us," said Nestrasil to reporters.

"We played a really good game, strong on the puck, making plays and good in the D-zone, so we really deserved it."

The game begins at 7:00 pm ET and it can be viewed on TV on the MGS+ and the NHL Center ICE network or online through live stream by clicking here.
