New York Giants NFL 2014 Rumors, News: New Head Coach? Tom Couglin's Last Season with Franchise?

The NY Giants football team has been under the microscope lately for some of their behavior on the football field. The Giants coach, Tom Coughlin took over coaching the team in 2004. He has put the team in the top of their division quite a few times and the team has won two Super Bowl rings with him at the helm.

The team has been in the news very recently because of their behavior. Giants' safety, Antrel Rolle was flagged after some very unsportsman like conduct after his teammate scored a touchdown against Tennessee on Sunday. Rolle was asked about the play after the game and he was quoted saying "It is what it is. We got caught up in the moment. A teammate made a play and we celebrate."

Coughlin may not like the actions of his players on the field, but he said that he will continue to remain professional when he speaks with his players. The NY Giants are currently in third place in the NFC East and have a record of 4-9. They will play again on Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

Tom Coughlin has been evaluated recently by the commissioner of the NFL about his coaching. It is very uncertain if he will be back for a twelfth season. There has been a lot of skepticism about his coaching since the Giants have not been in the playoffs for quite a few years now. If he does stay with the Giants, he will have to improve their record. Only at the end of the season, will fans see if he is still on as head coach.
