New Series ‘Growing Up McGhee’ Premieres On UP Network; ‘Bringing Up Bates’ Returns For 4th Season
UP Network will exclusively premiere a brand new series, "Growing Up McGhee," on Tuesday, June 8. Meanwhile, the popular "Bringing Up Bates" is returning for its fourth season on June 2.
"Growing Up McGhee" is about couple Ro and Mia who try to cope with the demands of their precocious five-year-old sextuplets, who are now in school, and their cleaning carpet business.
The sextuplets are:
- Rozonno Jr. is described as "independent and laid back" who has illusions of being a superhero.
- Josiah is known for being a class clown and quite charming and very mischievous who finds himself in the middle of most troubles
- Isaac loves being in the spotlight, so he always jokes around to make others laugh
- Madison is basically the center of attention in the family
- Elijah is described as a "lover boy" who loves hugs
- Olivia is known as a "drama queen" and a diva
"When Ro and I decided to start a family, we never imagined having sextuplets," Mia said in a press release. "We are so lucky that we have these six loving and incredible kids and wouldn't change a thing. Despite the challenges, obstacles and mayhem, each day is a new and exciting adventure full of love."
Meanwhile, "Bringing Up Bates," is coming back to the fourth season on UP Network. The family reality series is about Gil and Kelly Jo Bates who are trying to raise their 19 children on Christian values in a small town in Tennessee.
Amy Winter, general manager of UP, said that what "Growing Up McGhee" and "Bringing Up Bates" prove is that parents will always persevere even if they are grossly outnumbered.
"It's inspiring to see how both families handle the nonstop chaos and busy schedules with grace and a lot of laughs along the way. It doesn't look easy, but it certainly looks like a lot of fun."
