New Movies February 2015 List: ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, ‘Jupiter Ascending’
Moviegoers will have a great time during February as several romantic, action, inspirational, animated and horror films are scheduled for premiere during the month. Precisely speaking, altogether 11 movies will be released during February 2015, offering a wide option to the movie aficionados.

'Jupiter Ascending' - Feb. 6, 2015
This action/fantasy film is now all set to hit the theaters after being shelved for many months. Mila Kunis plays the lead character of a caretaker named Jupiter Jones. She discovers that she is a royal heir of a different planet. Channing Tatum, a genetically-engineered warrior named Caine, plays the role of her guide.
'Seventh Son' - Feb. 6, 2015
This movie is an adaptation of Joseph Delaney's novel "The Spook's Apprentice," but will not follow the exact plot of the novel. The movie features some top names like Ben Barnes (Tom Ward, an apprentice who learns to fight evil), Jeff Bridges (Master Gregory) and Julianne Moore (the main villain - Mother Malkin).
'The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water' - Feb. 6, 2015
Nickelodeon and Paramount Picture's 'Spongebob Squarepants' is the perfect movie for people wanting to watch a family friendly film. This movie features the animated characters from the popular TV series, as they traverse on land to prevent a villain (voiced-over by Antonio Banderas) from stealing the famed Krabby Patty recipe.
'Fifty Shades of Grey' - Feb. 13, 2015
'Fifty Shades of Grey,' based on author E.L. James' best-selling erotic novel by the same name, will release on the Valentine's Day, which features Jamie Dornan in the role of billionaire Christian Grey. Dakota Johnson portray's the character of his virginal lover, Anastasia Steele. In case you wish to buy tickets to see this much-anticipated R-rated film, you should be quick to get them. In fact, it has been forecast that the movie will have the second-best Valentine's Day opening of all time.
'The Last Five Years' - Feb. 13, 2015
'The Last Five Years,' based on Jason Robert Brown's hit Broadway musical, will come to life when premiers this month. The Richard LaGravenese-directed film will follow the destruction of couple's romance, beginning from the end of their relationship. While Anna Kendrick portrays a struggling actress named Cathy, Jeremy Jordan plays the role of Jamie, her lover and a novelist.
'How Tub Time Machine 2' - Feb. 20, 2015
The sequel to the 2010 hit comedy 'How Tub Time Machine' will feature the stars of the original film -
Nick (Craig Robinson), Jacob (Clark Duke) and Lou (Rob Corddry) and they will be seen traveling to the year 2025. When the "father of the Internet" Lou is attacked, the three will work together to track down his assailant.
'The DUFF' - Feb. 20, 2015
Based on Kody Keplinger's book 'The Duff: (Desiginated Ugly Fat Friend),' this comedy movie stars Mae Whitman as Duff (who also features in 'Parenthood') and Robbie Amell, who plays Wesly, his love interest. It also features Disney starlet Bella Throne in the role of the resident mean girl, Madison.
'McFarland' - Feb. 20, 2015
Movie buffs looking for some inspiration, may watch director Niki Caro's 'McFarland.' Kevin Costner, who won the Critics' Choice Lifetime Achievement award recently, portrays the character of a coach, who helps a small cross country team from California to become champions. 'Homeland' star Morgan Saylor and Mario Bello also feature in this movie.
'Maps to the Stars' - Feb. 27, 2015
Based on the fictional story of a hopeless Hollywood family, this movie features Julianne Moore in the character of an aging Hollywood actress and Mia Wasikowska, in addition to John Cusack and Robert Pattinson. The film is directed by David Cronenberg.
'The Focus' - Feb. 27, 2015
This crime drama stars Will Smith along with 'The Wolf of Wall Street' actress Margot Robbie. Will portrays the character of a con man in the movie in love with his apprentice played by Robbie. Gerald McRaney and Rodrigo Santoro also feature in 'The Focus.'
