New Jersey Devils vs New York Islanders Live Stream Free: How to Watch NHL Hockey Online
The New Jersey Devils goes one-on-one with the New York Islanders on January 9 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The game will start at 7:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).
The Devils are looking to defend their home ice when they host the Islanders in the 'Garden State' on Friday night.
The New Jersey previously defeated the Buffalo Sabres by a final score of 4-1 on January 6, where longtime Devils left winger Patrik Elias recorded the 1,000th point of his brilliant NHL career.
"I don't think I ever considered myself a goal scorer, coming here when I was 19 years old. I love playing hockey, being a playmaker. I never imagined I'd be in this position," said Elias to reporters.
"It's special to do it for one team. Sometimes it's hard to score, the way we've played our systems. You have great years, you have injuries. You have to battle through it. It's not easy to get to 1,000 points."
Meanwhile, the Islanders (26-13-1) are attempting to halt their current two game losing streak when they clash with their Metropolitan division rival Devils at the Prudential Center.
Previously, New York lost to the Vancouver Canucks by a final score of 3-2, where Islanders' players Matt Martin and Mikhail Grabovski each scored a goal in a losing effort on Tuesday night.
"We played a pretty good hockey game, but you can't manage the puck like that and expect to win," said Islanders coach Jack Capuano to reporters.
"The whole thing about this game is being able to execute your breakouts, and for whatever reason our defense didn't move the puck. Before you know it, it's in the back of our net."
The game begins at 7:00 pm ET on and can be viewed on TV on the MSG and MSG+ network or online through live stream by clicking here.
