The Galaxy will attempt to protect their home field versus the Revolution on Sunday, as to the MLS Cup Finals, as Los Angeles tries to win their fifth MLS title.

The Galaxy clinched the Western Conference Championship versus Seattle Sounders despite the fact that Los Angeles lost the second leg by a final score of 2-1 on November 30.

In the second leg, Galaxy advanced to the MLS Cup Final thanks to Juninho's road goal in the 54 minute, which resulted in both teams concluding the two legs with a 2-2 combined score.

Galaxy superstar Landon Donovan revealed his thoughts regarding playing his final match against New England in MLS Finals on Sunday.

"I really want to go out as a champion. There are so many things that I am looking forward to in all these other areas of my life that I have neglected because of what I have given to soccer," said Donovan, according to a USA Today report.

"But then sometimes it hits me too, that soon this will be gone and I will just have the memories of it, being part of a group of guys that you go out and fight for and hang out with and goof around with. It would be very naive of me to expect that I won't miss it."

Meanwhile, the Revolution is looking to spoil Donovan's final appearance in Major League Soccer as New England looks to win their first MLS championship in franchise history.

The Revolution recently eliminated the Red Bulls despite the fact New England lost to New York by a final score of 2-2 (4-3 total in both legs) in second leg of the Eastern Conference Championship on November 29.

"I have respect for these guys," said Revolution midfielder Jermaine Jones, according to MLSSoccer.com report.

"Donovan, he does a lot for U.S. soccer and MLS. He wins already a lot of cups, he got four or five. Me and my team, we want one, and we will do everything to get it."

The game will start at 3:00 pm ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through live stream by clicking here.
