Soon after announcing the list of its movie offerings for the Christmas season, Netflix has now released the list of the latest hit movie titles as well as television shows that will be available in January 2015.

This will allow families to select their favorite films and shows and enjoy them from the comfort of their home during the cold winter season.

The list includes some classic old movies, including 'The War of the Worlds' and 'The French Connection', a number of modern classics like '101 Dalmatians' and 'Mean Girls', in addition to some popular TV series like 'Friends'.

Other shows available in the new year will be Bruce Almighty, Bad Boys II, and Wayne's World 2 - all of which should be popular additions for Netflix fans.

For those who love sit-coms, one big addition coming in January 2015 is the complete Friends series will be added to Netflix. That means more than 200 episodes of the hugely popular Friends series featuring Jennifer Aniston and Matt Le Blanc.
