Netflix has announced that it will stream over 40 movies and TV shows during December 2014.

The lost of movies include Academy Award-winning movies like "Almost Famous," and "American Beauty" as well as blockbusters like "A Knight's Tale," and "Anchorman 2."

In addition, there will be popular TV shows like the "American Horror Story," according to IBTimes.

Other movies include Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, as well as another sequel in Sharknado 2: The Second One.

Just ahead of Christmas the movie streaming service will also be launching The Wolf of Wall Street, which should be a fan favorite ahead of the festive period.

Horror fans will also be excited by the addition of American Horror Story: Coven, which will be timely given the new season currently airing on TV.
