NES Classic Edition Release Date News: Console Promises Games Saves, HD Visuals
Nintendo's NES Classic Edition is set to give fans better gaming experience with its resolution and game saves.
The NES Classic is set to be capable of saving the game at a certain point, as suggested by Nintendo Canada communications manager Julie Gagnon. In an interview with La Terrasse ENERGIE, as cited by IGN, Gagnon revealed that Nintendo has integrated instant temporary saves, in addition to permanent save points in the game.
With the new temporary save feature, it is assumed that players can pause playing the game at any point and resume without losing and redoing what they have completed. However, the instant save only lasts provided that the the device is powered on.
As per Geek, the Classic Mini is comparable to the Retron 5 when it comes to its visuals. According to the publication, it features standard HD-resolution images, which make the NES at par with the images on a CRT. In addition, it also features a pixel-perfect mode and a 4:3 mode which lets players to have multiple viewing options to its 30 games. The device is priced at $59.99.
Nintendo's NES Classic Edition serves as a smaller version of the NES, which was initially released in 1985. Players just have to plug the device into their television to play the NES games. The package includes the NES Classic Edition system, one NES Classic controller (also compatible with Wii U NES Virtual Console games), an HDMI cable, an AC adapter, and 30 pre-installed games, according to Nintendo's official website.
Nintendo's NES Classic Edition is set to be released on Nov. 11.
