Nepal Earthquake News: Celebs Dwayne Johnson, Kim and Khloe Kardashian Tweet Support & Prayers

Last Sunday was a shock for all as Nepal went through a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake killing more than 2500 people and even reaching other countries such as India and Tibet. Hollywood celebrities were even alarmed and now are posting their prayers via social media and encouraging everyone to take part in relief operations.

The earthquake that left thousands of people dead in Nepal including 66 people in India and 18 people in Tibet had many Hollywood celebrities post their heartfelt prayers and encouragement for everyone to share a little to help the families left homeless in Nepal.

Celebrities that posted their heartfelt messages included Kim Kardashian and sister Khloe Kardashian as well as actor Dwayne Johnson. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson encouraged the people in the country suffering the devastating quake posting on Twitter saying, "Thoughts and prayers for the people of Nepal and everyone affected by today's tragic events. Hold onto your faith and stay strong.."

As the people try to stay strong, Kim Kardashian then posted on her Twitter asking people to help out in the relief operations by donating what they can. "Praying for victims of the earthquake in Nepal. Pls. help @prabalgurung raise relief money by donating here http://fw.to/Yyd30Ga," she wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Kim's sister and also 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star Khloe Kardashian posted her heartfelt message for the people in Nepal writing, "My thoughts and prayers are with the proud, brave people of Nepal!! Such a devastating tragedy!! God bless!!!"

Actress Olivia Munn also posted a message on Twitter sharing her prayers for those hurt by the earthquake. "My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the earthquake in Nepal that reached so far and hurt so many."

Meanwhile, Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson also shared an encouragement for the people to donate something for the victims of the Nepal quake to UNICEF. "My prayers are with Nepal, India & Tibet. To help: http://www.unicefusa.org or text the word Nepal to 864233 (UNICEF) to make a $10 donation," he wrote.
