Agent Tim McGee will have a lot on her plate in the upcoming season of "NCIS: LA."

According to TV Line, big changes are coming his way as Tony departs from the team. The departure will not only lead to McGee's promotion but will also cause some major changes in his personal life.

Following Michael Weatherly's departure from the series, "NCIS: LA" is bringing in several new actors to the show. Someone is also taking over the actual job of Tony, and that someone will come from the team. Reports claiming that McGee will take over Tony's responsibilities as senior field agent was confirmed by "NCIS: L.A." showrunner Gary Glasberg.

"And whit that comes tremendous responsibility," he told TV Line.

While filling Tony's shoe already entails a huge responsibility for McGee, he might take on even more responsibility next season when it comes to his personal life. There are speculations that McGee will finally propose to his long-time girlfriend Delilah in season 14, and their wedding will happen before the season come s to a close. Their engagement is expected to happen early in season 14.

Some speculate that the upcoming wedding will serve as a chance for Michael Weatherly to make a return to the series for a wedding cameo.

Meanwhile, showrunner Gary Glasberg recently revealed that the new season will see the arrival of NCIS special agent Alex Qyuin, portrayed by new series regular Jennifer Esposito.

"NCIS: L.A." season 14 premieres on September 20, 8:00 P.M. on CBS.
