In the upcoming episode of "NCIS" season 14, fans will finally get to know what Tony DiNozzo has been up to since he left his job last season to look after his daughter.

According to reports, Tony DiNozzo, Sr. will return this week as he lets the team rent the old apartment of the younger DiNozzo.

A promotional still from "NCIS" season 14, episode 7 shows DiNozzo speaking to Abby, McGee and Bishop, who look so equally happy to see him again. It can be recalled that Robert Wagner's character was last seen in season 13, when he comforted Tony as he mourned the death of Ziva. He also tried to help him with his daughter Talia when the special agent left for good.

The CBS network teases that DiNozzo will give the team a chance to rent Tony's apartment, and Abby, McGee, and Bishop will all be interested to sublet the place. Fans can expect the interest of the three to make for the light-hearted moments of episode 7, since all of them will try to convince the senior DiNozzo in order to get the coveted apartment unit. The trio will reportedly try funny ways in securing the place.

Episode 7 will also update fans on how Tony has been ever since he decided to leave the job and live a safe life for his daughter in the season 13 finale. The episode will also follow Gibbs as he leads an investigation on a witness wanted by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
