Along with talks that Cote de Pablo is not returning to "NCIS" season 13, Michael Weatherly also revealed that Tony DiNozzo is set to die in the series.

In an interview with Extra, Weatherly, who plays the role of DiNozzo in the "NCIS" series, gave his thoughts on whether the character would die in the show. The actor said that part of his character died, adding that he did know that there was death, which he specified as "sudden death" in the show's season 13.

According to Weatherly, he had written down a long series of ideas, feelings, and everything last summer and he had realized that DiNozzo had to go and it was time for him to graduate from "NCIS."

In other news, de Pablo, who plays the role of Ziva David, in "NCIS," has also revealed that she would be return in the remaining episodes of season 13. According to Ecumenical News, de Pablo explained that her character had not been given the respect she had deserved in the show and it was the main reason why she had left the series.

The actress noted that while David would no longer appear physically in "NCIS" season 13, it is assumed that her dynamics with DiNozzo is set to be pivotal on the latter's exit in the series.

In his interview with E!News, "NCIS" executive producer Gary Glasberg said that DiNozzo's relationship with David absolutely would have an impact on his reason to depart.

Meanwhile, "NCIS" season 13 episode 23 is entitled "Dead Letter." According to Spoilers Guide, the NCIS team, the FBI, and MI6 are set to push a global manhunt for a Bristish spy who escaped and left a colleague fighting for his life in the ICU.

"NCIS" season 13 episode 23, "Dead Letter," is set to air on May 10.
