'NCIS' Season 12 Spoilers: CBS to Delay Airing New Episode, Cote de Pablo Talks About Quitting Show
Here is some bad news for "NCIS" fans, it appears that CBS is actually dilly-dallying with airing the next episodes of the 12th season of this police procedural drama television series. At least it does not seem that the network will be airing any new episodes in January, 2015, reports Christian Today.
While many find this to be an odd move by CBS, Carter Matt is of the view that this is nothing new with the network, which has been doing this for quite some time now. In fact, CBS does not prefer airing too many episodes in the second half of January, but postpone them till February.
In fact, this is what CBS is doing right now with the "NCIS" Season 12, Episode 13. However, what fans are actually sore about is that the network has yet to release any new reports, previews or spoilers for the upcoming episode.
However, news regarding "NCIS" does not end here, as Cote de Pablo has at last talked about how she felt while quitting the show. She also spoke on the possibilities of returning to "NCIS."
Meanwhile, fans actually faced a difficult time in allowing Pablo's character Ziva David leave the long-running show. This is mainly owing to the fact that Ziva shared a wonderful chemistry with Tony DiNozzo in "NCIS." The two were often fondly called Tiva by the fans, who now have accept that Pablo has quit the show for good. In the absence of Ziva, Tony is now likely to have another love interest.
Talking to TV Line recently, Pablo said, "I think it was rushed. I would have liked a little bit of closure, but I think all in all I could not be more blessed, because I got a chance to be with my 'love,' Michael [Weatherly]. Any time you put Michael and I together, there's going to be a spark, and there's going to be real honesty, and for that I am forever grateful, because in that sense there was a sense of conclusion as far as what [they] felt for each other."
Now, fans are wondering if Pablo will ever return to "NCIS." Referring to this, the actress said that it might happen "under the right circumstances," provided her character in the show is explored further.
Meanwhile, even without Ziva, the storyline of "NCIS" seems to be progressing well and it appears that Tony is also doing well.
"NCIS" season 12 will return to the small screen with an entire new episode on Feb. 3.
