'NCIS' Season 12 Episode 20 Recap: Tony's Father is in Town in 'No Good Deed'

In the episode of NCIS that aired this week, Tony and his girlfriend Zoe pair up to tackle a case and Tony's father is in town to meet his girlfriend. The episode begins with some men picking up trash for community service when they see a body.

The victim of the murder is revealed to be Marine Lance Corporal, David Austin. It has been made to appear as though his motorcycle crossed the center lane and he lost control of it, but there is a bullet wound in his chest.

Later on, when Tony's father arrives at NCIS headquarters, he gives him his apartment key and asks if he should make plans for the two of them and Zoe later, but Tony Senior apparently has plans for the trio already.

Gibb checks in on Abby in the lab, and she tells him that the gun that was used on Austin was bought by the ATF. When Gibbs and Vance confer with Zoe at the ATF, she tells them that the gun is one of three thousand that were supposed to be used for a sting operation, but the guns have somehow ended up all over Mexico and have been used in several crimes.

Tony works with Zoe and Bishop and McGree trace Austin's steps from the time he left his parent's farm to the time of his death. Abby finds out that Austin did not have enough gas in his motorcycle to reach his final destination.

He had passed a gas station but did not stop, so Bishop and McGee go to the gas station and see Austin staring at a car and then following it. When Tony and Zoe reach his house, the find Tony Senior burning their dinner and he has also rearranged Tony's furniture.
