'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3 Episode 9 Recap, Spoilers: Team Investigates Death Of Amateur Race Car Driver

"NCIS: New Orleans" season 3, episode 9, titled "Overdrive," will focus on the investigation of a case involving an amateur race car driver.

According to reports, the investigation will bring to light the other side of the NCIS team. Based on the synopsis for the episode, a Marine corporal has died while carrying out a trick with his race car. While many believe that his death was just a case of a mishap, the NCIS team believes that a foul play might have been involved. Hence, they will do everything to make sure that they find the person who might have the motive to kill the corporal.

In the promo photos for the episode, Scott Bakula and others are shown on a racetrack. One photo also shows Dr. Wade examining the corpse of the corporal, while Sebastian and Percy are rummaging around for some evidence.

In the previous episode, viewers of the series witnessed the heartrending story of a young man who had lost his aunt. The body of the officer was recovered inside the home which she shared with the boy. While the boy was the only witness in the murder, the NCIS team had difficulty getting answers from him because he was traumatized and could only communicate through his music.

Meanwhile, fans are wondering how Meredith Brody has been since she went missing in action in the season premiere. Recently, Zoe McLellan said that her exit was based on a creative decision.
