'NCIS: LA' Season 8 Spoilers: Deeks and Kensi Talk 'What Is In Store For Them?'

If two years ago, Eric Christian Olsen and Daniela Ruah never imagined their characters Deeks and Kensi getting together, now, as they prepare for the 8th installment of "NCIS: LA," they cannot imagine the show without "Densi."

In an interview with the actors at the MCM Comic Con in London, Deeks and Kensi talked about the origins of their loveteam and what is in store for them.

The two characters first paired up in season 1, but it was not until season 6 that the burgeoning romance between them caught the interest of viewers.

"Everyone was terrified in television that once you put them together it's going to fall apart," said Olsen.

Olsen wasn't the only one who thought that their loveteam will not work. In fact, even Ruah believed at first that Densi was doomed to fail.

"Literally a couple of days before we got hat script where Deeks and Kensi make it official--the Christmas episode of season 6, I believe, was when the characters officially got together--and literally a few days before that I had done an interview saying I thought it was going to be a will-they-won't-they because one you put them together it's going to be, 'Where do you go from there? It's done,'" said Ruah.

The actress said she was wrong to assume that Densi wouldn't go anywhere.

"I was so, so wrong. There's plenty of places to go because now there are these feelings, these emotions, and these potential obstacles," she explained.

While parenthood doesn't seem to come in Densi's immediate future, there's a huge chance that their marriage is in the offing.

"NCIS: LA" season 8 returns to CBS this fall.
