'NCIS: LA' Season 8 News: Series Confirmed Set To Premiere in October?
Fans of "NCIS: L.A." can set aside their worries now that the 8th season of the police procedural drama has been confirmed to premiere in October.
The confirmation was made by production manager Rick Tunnel via a Twitter post.
Since news about the change of "NCIS: L.A." showrunner came out, fans have been on edge about the next season. Despite that, executive producer John Peter Kousakis has been actively reassuring "NCIS: L.A." fans on social media that something spectacular awaits them in season 8.
"NCIS: L.A." showrunner Shanne Brennan was recently replaced by R. Scott Gemill. The new showrunner remains optimistic that with him at the show's helm, fans will never have any reason to be worried about the upcoming season since they have had everything well-planned.
Moreover, it has been reported that Gemill is planning something big for the romantic storyline of Deeks and Kensi.
Since the season 7 finale, fans have been making speculations as to what to expect in season 8. There are rumors that Deeks will finally decide to take their relationship to the next level by proposing to Kensi.
In a statement, Gemill said, "I already know how we're going to do it. It's just, the fans have waited long enough that we want it to be worth the wait."
The upcoming season will also follow Callen as he finds out more about his true identity. It can be recalled that in the previous season, he discovered that he is the son of a woman named Nikita.
