'NBA 2K17' News: September Release Date Confirmed; 76ers Forward Ben Simmon Gets Face Scanned?

Following talks about time locker code for 2K Sports' "NBA 2K17," details on the title's release date have surfaced. It has also been revealed that Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons had his face scanned for the game.

"NBA 2K17" is set to be released on Sept. 20 and pre-orders are already available for the game which is set to come out on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.

It is further revealed that "NBA 2K17" is set to have three editions - Standard, Legend, and Legend-Edition Gold. As per reports, the Standard Edition comes with My Team Bundles, which is three packs with a Paul George Free Agent card); 5,000 Virtual Currency, and two more items.

The Legend Edition includes My Team Bundle (three packs with Kobe Bryant Free Agent card), Kobe #8 Mitchell & Ness Jersey, 2K Kobe XI shoe, Kobe hoodie, Kobe Bryant poster, Black Mamba controller skin, two pieces of Panini Kobe trading cards, and 30,000 Virtual Currency.

The Legend-Edition Gold is set to have the Legend Edition contents, along with 24 Nike Kobe Shoe Collection, a Lenticular Cover Insert, MyTeam Gold Bundle (two extra packs), and an extra 70,000 Virtual Currency.

Meanwhile, it is revealed that Philadelphia 76ers' Simmons got his face scanned for "NBA 2K17." This came from iPodKingcarter's video on his YouTube channel. According to him, it might not only Simmons, but the other NBA rookies as well. Thus, he recommends fans to check the NBA stars' social media accounts for more information.

According to 2K Sports' official website, the studio is set to take the title to a higher bar, setting the game version at par with the actual NBA events. In addition, the studio said it's proud of its realistic iteration of the United States' popular hobby, with each game installment topping its predecessor.
