'NBA 2K17' Cover News, Release Date: Zach LaVine, Aaron Gordon Set To Join Game Roster
Along with Kobe Bryant, two more basketball stars have been revealed to be included in the "NBA 2K17" roster.
"NBA 2K" social media manager Ronnie Singh shared some images and brief videos of Minnesota Timberwolves' Zach LaVine and Orlando Magic's Aaron Gordon, according to Forbes. It was on May 20 when Singh tweeted a video showing LaVine and Magic's warmup dunks prior to dunk off. His hashtag, saying "NBA2K17," ignited speculations that the duo are set to be part of the game roster.
Along with LaVine and Gordon, Bryant's name has also been attached to "NBA 2K17." As previously reported by VG 247, Los Angeles living legend is set to be the featured athlete on the cover of the Limited Edition of "NBA 2K17." He reportedly follows the footsteps of co-basketball star Michael Jordan, who also became the athlete cover of the "NBA 2K" predecessor.
Previously, it was also revealed that "NBA 2K17" is set to include Stephen Curry's signature moves. As per Gospel Herald, this is to match the skills of the virtual Curry to the real-life Curry in the virtual and actual basketball court.
In line with the Legend Edition, it includes two custom Panini playing cards, a Black Mamba game controller skin, and an exclusive Kobe Bryant poster, in addition to digital bonuses, such as MyTeam Bundle with a Kobe Bryant card, 30,000 virtual currency (VC), Nike 11 KB retirement shoes, a jersey, and a hoodey. It costs a pre-purchase price of $79.99 on Amazon.
"NBA 2K17" is set to be released on Sept. 27.
