NBA 2015 News: Three Free Agents Sign with Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings officially signed three free agents after a tumultuous start to the offseason. Guards Rajon Rondo and Marco Belenelli, along with center Kosta Koufos all inked their new deals, according to Kings Vide President of Basketball Operations Vlade Divac.

Rondo averaged 8.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.9 assists in 68 games last season. The four-time All-Star led the league in assists twice and is looking to revive his career, which saw a dip after a couple of seasons having to deal with knee issues. His deal is reportedly for one-year and $10 million.

Belinelli is coming off a year in which he normed 9.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in a supporting role with the San Antonio Spurs. The eight-year veteran will add much needed three-point shooting to a Kings team that has long coveted such a skill. He shot 46.7 percent in the past playoffs. His deal is for three years and $19 million.

Koufos, for his part, did a respectable job backing up Marc Gasol for the Memphis Grizzlies last year. He averaged a modest 5.2 points and 5.3 rebounds last year, but has proven to be a reliable big body that should complement All-Star DeMarcus Cousins. Koufos deal is reportedly for four years and $33 million.

Meanwhile, Andrea Bargnani, who was previously linked to the Kings, took less money and has agreed to a two-year, minimum contract with the Brooklyn Nets. Bargnani averaged 14.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in just 29 games for the New York Knicks last year.

In Denver, veteran point guard Jameer Nelson signed a three-year, $13.5 million deal with the Nuggets. The 33-year-old spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Orlando Magic before playing for both the Dallas Mavericks, and the Boston Celtics last year.

In 63 games last season, Nelson averaged 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
