Natalie Grant Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut Alongside LeAnn Rimes & Pam Tillis with 'Women Rock for the Cure' Oct. 22
Popular Christian singer Natalie Grant has had a long and illustrious career singing all over the world, but there is a famous place in her home city that she has never played, The Grand Ole Opry.
That will change this month as the Grammy-nominated and five-time Dove Award winning Female Artist of the Year will make her Grand Ole Opry debut alongside country legends LeAnn Rimes and Pam Tillis. Also performing will be Mandisa, Lorrie Morgan and more.
They will be performing for the Women Rock For The Cure event in the fight against breast cancer on Tuesday, October 22nd.
This will be the fifth annual "Opry Goes Pink" show in raising awareness in the fight to beat breast cancer. LeAnn Rimes will have the honor of flipping the switch on the Opry's signature barn backdrop, which will turn it pink for the night in recognition of breast cancer survivors around the world.
$5 from every ticket sold for the 7 p.m. show will be donated to Women Rock For The CureTM. You can get tickets by calling (615) 871-OPRY or visiting http://www.opry.com/ . The Grand Ole Opry® is presented by Humana®.
Natalie Grant's new album, Hurricane releases next Tuesday, October 15, from Curb Records. Her first single, "Hurricane" went to No. 1 on iTunes, making it the fastest rising single of her career.
Grant recently performed at the "Let Freedom Ring" ceremony held at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom with Martin Luther King Jr.
