Episode 17 of "Nashville" season 4 proves that while most people believe that there is no place like home, there are still those who believe otherwise.

In the episode, Maddie tries to run away from home and turn her back on her parents, leaving Rayna and Deacon in frantic search for ways to make her stay.

Based on the synopsis for the episode, "Rayna reaches out to Teddy to help bring Maddie home and avoid escalating things in court. Meanwhile, Juliette's success on tour and advances toward Avery win her no favors with Layla; and Luke uses a talk show appearance to try to bolster Will's career."

Rayna and Deacon are well aware that there is no stopping their daughter from wanting to emancipate herself, not even their two cents worth. Desperate to reunite with her, they finally decide to seek the help of Teddy in convincing her that turning to Cash will not do her any good.

Meanwhile, it appears that Juliette, Layla and Avery are to go through some relationship bumps. Preview for the episode suggests that while Juliette tries to rekindle her romance with Avery, Layla ends up being jealous of her. However, it is not only Layla who turns into a green-eyed monster.

In the trailer for episode 17 titled "Baby Come Home," Juliette asks if there is anything between Avery and Layla, and begs Avery to get back with her. "If we work together, we could rebuild what we had," she tells Avery.

Meanwhile, Luke tries to jumpstart Will's career by making an appearance at a talk show.
